Starting my podcasting journey as an intern for ScaryCrit: A Black Horror Podcast, I cultivated my research skills, note-taking proficiency, and became a producer. Transitioning into the role of creator, I launched The Mount Gore Podcast in 2023 where I assumed the roles of host, producer, and editor. Through Mount Gore, I compared and contrasted two similar horror films, crafting compelling episodes that resonated with audiences. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the podcasting world, but also fortified my skills in content creation and storytelling.
